Who We Are
Mockingbird Heirloom Co. was born from a love of old things, slow living, and the belief that beauty deserves a second song.
Founded by Tennessee native Kiera Ashford, Mockingbird Heirloom Co. transforms discarded vintage plates and forgotten treasures into elegant, usable heirlooms for modern living. Each piece is thoughtfully curated, artfully reimagined, and handcrafted to be gathered around, gifted, and cherished.
Kiera is a photographer, graphic designer, artist, a wife, and a mother of three. She works for Tall Boy Marketing in Nashville, TN. When she isn’t working or creating, you’ll find her at home in the Tennessee countryside—surrounded by chickens, two mischievous goats, and a loyal boxer dog—living a life rooted in creativity, family, and simple joys. Her love for antique shops and thrift stores runs deep, where she carefully searches for the prettiest plates and vintage pieces, each with a story waiting to be continued.
Inspired by the Northern Mockingbird—Tennessee’s state bird and a symbol of creativity and reinvention—Mockingbird Heirloom Co. celebrates the art of making something new from what was once overlooked. Mismatched china becomes elegant serving trays for parties or used as a place to hold your jewelry. Forgotten pieces are given purpose again. No two creations are ever the same, and that is exactly the point.
At Mockingbird Heirloom Co., we believe heirlooms aren’t just inherited—they’re created. Crafted with intention and grace, our pieces are meant to live full lives in your home, carrying stories from the past into the moments you’re making today.
